The incumbent is responsible for leading major, transformational initiatives for the Technology Organization, serving as a key member of the leadership team that designs and implements the division’s strategies. The incumbent works with fellow Technology leadership team members to actively evolve the organization’s culture, performance and quality of delivery, with an overall goal of becoming a world-class technology organization. Responsibilities include developing, leading and improving strategic and business planning efforts for technology and working with key business partners to evaluate and prioritize initiatives requiring technology investment. The incumbent leads the Priority Review Board, the venue through which the Bank’s leaders use value-based analysis and insights to determine the prioritization of future and/or further investment of technology capacity amongst competing initiatives. Works closely with the Finance team to align strategic plans with budgets, ensuring investments are appropriately aligned with the highest priority outcomes for the Bank. Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. CTO Duties:

  • Collaborates with senior executives across Bancorp to understand and prioritize the initiatives requiring technology solutions.
  • Actively participates in long-range strategic planning for the technology division by partnering with senior leaders on overall division strategies.
  • Leads the Priority Review Board (PRB) for the company through interactions with senior leaders across the organization.
  • Develop the Technology talent pipeline through strategic insourcing and establishment of a Managed Service Provider relationship.

CTO Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 20+ years of IT and business/industry work experience with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership role.
  • Requires financial management background (Capital/Expense planning, budgeting, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Agile and other transformational work strategies is recommended.

  • Experience in engaging (or at a minimum the ability to engage) with relevant industries (Particularly automotive, but also energy, aerospace, motorsport)
