2. The Director of Partnerships / Business Development Director will have proven ability to lead business development and fundraising efforts leading to winning medium to large scale government and institutionally sponsored social sector project opportunities in India and other Asian geographies.

Business Development Director Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Creating strategies to expand and/or open funding opportunities with government/allied, multilateral agencies and private foundations.
  • Developing knowledge of clients and markets including market analysis - particularly in the social sector consisting of international and multilateral agencies to track potential opportunities.

  • Experience of which minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in business development in the international aid sector for ICT4D or similar sector
  • In-depth understanding of enabling technologies in relation to impact driven projects
  • Has worked extensively with social enterprises and the donor ecosystem at least for a period of 2-3 years
  • Has been associated in social sector projects administered by the Central and/or State Governments
  • Demonstrated skills in securing financial resources from bilateral or multilateral project contracts with multi-year commitments.

3. The Prospect Management Director leads activities to implement and manage the YPO external prospect management process, which complements the internal prospect application management process. This position has a global reach and is focused on searching, identifying, and attracting the most prominent and extraordinary of the young leaders as defined by the world outside of YPO. The Director relies on web data, publications, and referrals that raise the visibility of business leaders that meet the YPO membership criteria. This role leverages partnerships established by YPO with vendors that can identify and provide additional diverse lists of prospects.

  • Identifies and creates new opportunities for potential YPO prospect leads.
  • Monitors business trends and develops plans to continuously expand prospect leads pipeline.

5. The Director, Clarin Business Development will be the driving force behind revitalizing Lamwork’s iconic Clarin Chair line. This role will be responsible for creating and executing overall strategic direction, revenue growth, profitability, distribution, and customer relations of this business unit, and will encompass strategic planning, product development and product launches for the channel as well as accompanying strategic and tactical plans. The Director CBU will conduct market and competitive analysis and formulate strategic responses to market opportunities that are uncovered.
