The Business Analyst will be involved with every facet of the operations within the distribution centre such as capital projects, change management, 5S initiatives, manpower planning, product slotting, and continuous improvement to name a few. The environment is fast paced and requires an individual who has good organizational skills, sound analytical ability, capacity to communicate at all levels and the ability to work in a team or independently. The Business Analyst will be responsible for investigating and analyzing business processes and systems with the objective to develop and implement process improvement initiatives using Canadian Tire Project Management Methodology.

Roles for Business Analyst:

3. The Business Analyst, Healthcare & Research is required to help to define business problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non-technical information. They are responsible for the capture of design requirements, system capabilities, and product features that meet market requirements and provide valuable solutions to both internal and external users. This role will contribute to the development of design assets in the form of use cases, workflows, navigation maps, and other supporting assets. The Business Analyst, Healthcare & Research will maintain appropriate specifications for development and quality control needs. As products near commercial release, they will contribute to the production of user guides and training material. Throughout the product development process, the Business Analyst, Healthcare & Research will assist in prioritisation and capture of relevant detail required by development, quality control and quality assurance team members.

Business Analyst, Healthcare & Research Duties:

  • Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements​.

4. The Business Analyst will be based in the Client's office in Central London. Preference will be given to a candidate able to work in the office for 5 days a week, however, candidates wishing to work from home one day a week can be accommodated. The Business Analyst will involve liaison with the client's North American offices on a regular basis. The work/life balance is pretty good, with both busy and less busy periods.

6. The Business Analyst will drive improvements in Emerson Measurement and Analytical Europe Organization intended to result in improved customer focus, increased delivery performance and optimized internal business processes. You will develop reports and tools to support the decision making to drive business objectives based on Quotes, Orders, Model Configuration and Operations data from Global, European and Rosemount Business Applications. The main focus is on TWC and After Sales.

Business Analyst Functions:

  • Provide data analysis expertise and reporting using Microsoft SQL Reporting Services (2008 onwards);
  • Develop new reports based on the business need using different BI technologies: Excel, SSRS, Power BI;
  • Develop the reporting system by analyzing, designing, programming and managing ERS databases (using SQL queries) to be an application interface;

10. The Business Analyst will be a vital member of the finance team that provides management with reporting, modeling, and ad hoc analyses to facilitate business planning and decision-making.

11. The Senior Business Analyst (BA) will be the key project stakeholder responsible for the conversion of customer business and technical requirements to functional solutions in association with the implementation and/or continued utilization of technical solutions. Project types include but are not limited to new client installations; upgrades; consultative services engagements, pre-sales initiatives and product development/release management operations.

Business Analyst Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with customer users and subject matter experts to identify and document customer requirements and processes that support their business goals and objectives, utilizing a combination of industry best practices and standard operating procedures
  • Partner with Product Management, Development and Quality Assurance staff, when necessary, in conjunction with the development of/enhancement to solution features related to customer-defined requirements and product enhancement requests
  • Leads all product troubleshooting and issue management activities for the duration of any assigned projects

12. Reporting directly to the Business Engagement Manager, the Business Analyst works with the appropriate business units to create business requirements and support business case development. The incumbent applies Supply Chain Systems domain knowledge as well as various stages of the IT project life cycle, including Requirements Gathering, Design Review, Test Planning and Review, Implementation Planning, and Deployment Support (during and post-implementation).

Business Analyst Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Liaises with appropriate departments to create in-depth, complex, business case documentation.
