WHAT IS AN ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERVISOR ?
The Administrative Supervisor oversees teams managing Billing, Account Maintenance, and Credits, ensuring daily communication on workload challenges to foster improvements. They manage team and individual performances using appraisal processes and support management with administrative functions. This role also involves maintaining data integrity and managing financial tasks monthly.

1. Administrative Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform management teams and outputs by utilizing appraisal processes and other management tools
- Manage a team of people being responsible for (but not limited to) managing performance, attendance, behavior, capability, welfare, health and safety and record-keeping
- Monitor and measure team performance along with individual key indicators including regular feedback
- Ensure daily communication to the business in regard to the workload and challenges in order to drive improvements
- Supporting management with admin functions
- Supporting your direct reports with processing data at peak requirements
- Maintenance of data records
- Maintain end-of-week and month financial tasks within the operating system.
- Working outside standard operating hours.
- Maintenance of Customer Portals
2. Administrative Supervisor Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
- Previous experience managing or supervising staff
- Experience in a transactional administration
- Experience in JDE software would be advantageous
- Advanced skills in MS Office Packages
- Experience within the waste or transport industry would be advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
- Sound interpersonal and people management skills
- Ability to coach and mentor
- Excellent office and administration skills
- Demonstrate proven track record of achieving objectives to set standards
- Ability to follow processes within time constraints
