The Sales Associate role offers an exceptional opportunity for individuals with experience in internal or external sales within the financial services industry, and a proven ability to generate new business. This position is based in Montreal, with potential future travel to the U.S. and internationally. Key responsibilities include identifying and engaging qualified prospects such as CIOs, Strategists, Directors of Research, Portfolio Managers, and Analysts at buy-side firms within a specified sales region. The role also involves arranging evaluations of Lamwork’s independent research services, negotiating, and finalizing research access agreements.
Sales Associate Roles and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for marketing, lead generation and managing the full sales cycle.
- Achieve sales targets and corporate objectives.
- Schedule client and prospect events and meetings with strategists (both virtually and in person) and travel domestically or abroad when required.
- Handle prospect and client inquiries related to Lamwork’s research and strategy.
- Partner with the account management team to grow existing client relationships.
- Relevant work experience in sales, business development, marketing or customer service in a financial institution or relevant work environment.
- Keen interest and knowledge of global financial markets.
- Committed to ongoing product knowledge training
Sales Associate Experience and Requirement:
- University Degree required.
- Proven track record of achieving sales results in a highly client relationship focused environment
- Experience in cold-calling.
- Proactive personality with strong attention to detail.

- CRM applications (Salesforce experience is an asset).
