• Perform various aspects of HVAC design for Pre-FEED/BED of gasification projects in China and Pre-FEED/BED/DED gasification projects in other countries
• Prepare material/equipment specifications, equipment data sheet, etc.
• Prepare and finish calculation, layout, PID and other drawings for HVAC systems
• Prepare and finish documents for subcontract requisitions, like equipment list, MTO, MR, etc.
• Review vendor documents and technical bids, etc.
• Understand international and national industry HVAC standard/code.
• Has strong communication & inter-disciplinary coordination skills, working with architecture, civil, electrical, process and piping discipline, and exchange design condition during the work process.
• Review and approve other HVAC engineer’s design work.
• Support project proposal estimation, project execution, construction QA/QC, initiate HVAC design changes as necessary.
• Prepare and finish the HVAC documents according to local authorities’ requirements.
• Perform CSA team infrastructure building, including lesson learn sharing, technical issues solving, low-cost design initiatives and coaching junior engineers.
• Lead the creation and maintenance of HVAC key work processes and engineering standards to ensure the competitive and safe design of projects on a global basis.
