- Maintain productive relationships with line leads by communicating inspection results and driving correction upstream to the root cause
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into the quality database
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by complying with standards and procedures
- Ensure that the quality of suppliers, products, and processes is compliant with internal and regulatory standards and is continuously improving
- Inspect incoming materials, supplier-manufactured parts, sub-assemblies, and product in receiving, in-process, and final inspection
- Review, verify, and physically validate measurements and features, including review of metallurgical requirements as well as special process requirements
- Support work transfers (supplier to supplier), delta FAI, new product submittals, as well as internal FAI for final inspection of completed hoist and winch units
- Complete physical inspection of materials and processes, key documents, and records, ensuring they are reviewed and processed
- Maintain and check documents and records, including work orders, material goods documents, and inspection logs
