Job Summary: 

  • Advice on cloud native architectures (e.g., everything as code, API first, resiliency design).
  • Architect, develop and give advice on cloud native technologies.
  • Architect and implement cloud migration patterns for on-prem infrastructure components and solutions.
  • Contribute to projects/activities designing future platforms and solutions, e.g., supporting the Renewables business area.
  • Contribute to data centre consolidations and modernisation, and Equinor’s mergers and divestments internationally.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams on e.g., IT security, Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
  • Ensure that the respective business application, data, and technology perspectives are in line with the business, technology and governance strategies, policies and standards.
  • Provide guidance, roadmaps, principles, standards and best practices for designing, selecting, building, configuring and deploying business capability through application and technology solutions.
  • Responsible for overseeing the management of the Bank’s client/server environment, database systems, local/wide area network infrastructure and all other network-based systems.
  • Function as an internal technical consultant to the Bank’s business units, developers and application managers on technology initiatives and projects.
