1. Account Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead allocated accounts to ensure all accounts/projects deliver excellence in client service
  • Drive continuous improvement on an account level in terms of client services and project management delivery
  • Meet the standards of quality for the outputs of the allocated client services team
  • Work with scientific services lead to ensure that all projects are profitable and project milestones are met
  • Work with Finance Manager to ensure timely invoicing on allocated accounts
  • Help team members prioritize their work in order to ensure company objectives are met
  • Utilize in-house technology platforms to manage projects including resourcing, timelines, and project flow
  • Ensures 100% compliance with client standard client services procedures, including ethical standards
  • Ability to mitigate risk and proactively problem solve
  • Participate in training junior staff and develop best practices and SOPs
  • Performs other tasks as delegated by the Account Director

2. Account Supervisor Skills, Abilities and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, experience in a business or scientific field is preferred
  • 5 to 7 years of medical communications agency experience or similar agency experience
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Confident decision-maker with sound judgment
  • Understanding of the AMA writing style
  • Team player who can oversee and direct an account team
  • Ability to recognize challenges and problem solve in order to meet deadlines
  • Possesses outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
