Job Summary:

• Develop own and technicians standard work, maintaining control over its compliance.

Job Summary:

• Evaluates and maintains contract manufacturer and key supplier performance to quality and food safety requirements. 
• Coordinates efforts to gather holistic KPI data related to suppliers’ performance, and reports performance to key internal and external stakeholders
• Monitors quality and functionality of current ingredients and finished products and facilitates specification changes 
• Generate and champion new ideas to support product and process improvement targets
• Schedules and conducts audits of contract manufacturers and key suppliers. 
• Develops food safety audit checklists and guidelines specific to operations category (contract manufacturer, ingredient supplier, packaging supplier, and finished product warehouse)
• Supports R&D in trials related to new products, ingredients, packaging material, processes, and partners. 
• Performs FMEA risk assessments to facilitate development activities, identify potential issues/ risks, and formulate mitigation steps prior to commercialization
• Analyzes consumer and customer feedback data to generate improvement activities at contract manufacturers
• Coordinates resolution and corrective action with suppliers related to nonconforming raw materials
• Generate, review, and implement Supplier Quality related policy/procedure and guideline developments, including the Supplier & Co-Manufacturer Expectations Manual
• Initiates improvement projects between TCCA suppliers and internal production plants and/or contract manufacturers, to deliver improved quality product
• Supports the development of Supplier Quality infrastructure by collaborating with management on the development and enhancement of critical processes and procedures, as well as training and mentoring staff
• Sets up and maintains testing regimen with TCCA QC and Sensory departments to evaluate TCCA end products manufactured or packaged at partner locations. 
• Provides input on incoming ingredient and packaging inspections at the Tillamook and Boardman locations
• Coordinate external certification such as Kosher, Halal, and Organic compliance for TCCA vendors/suppliers
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with supplier partners, employees, supervisors and the general public
• Act as a team player and be able to interact with staff at all levels of the company
