Job Summary:
- Underwrite, structure, negotiate, and close investment opportunities across various vehicles, including funds and syndications.
- Promote and cross-sell services to operating partners to support their growth, scalability, and operational improvement.
- Recruit, train, and manage support personnel across sales, underwriting, and portfolio teams to handle multiple strategic partnerships.
- Conduct thorough due diligence on new investment opportunities sourced from both existing and prospective operating partners.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as legal, portfolio management, and capital markets to ensure smooth communication and transaction execution.
- Create, refine, and maintain advanced real estate investment financial models for evaluating and underwriting opportunities.
- Edit and draft content for offering memoranda and other marketing materials used during capital-raising processes.
- Source and negotiate terms and structures with various commercial real estate lenders and debt providers, including traditional institutions and private capital sources.
- Engage with real estate equity allocators and investors to present deals, assess interest, and facilitate their underwriting and investment decision-making processes.
- Evaluate operating partners’ business structures to identify areas for optimization and propose solutions and services that add mutual value.
- Serve as the primary accountable representative during investment committee sessions by delivering in-depth analysis of both new and existing opportunities.
- Participate in select senior executive leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning discussions.
- Proactively recommend improvements that enhance the value and performance of operating partner relationships.
- Monitor relevant market data and trends to support informed, long-term strategic investment decisions.
- Collaborate with finance, capital markets, portfolio management, and investor relations teams to ensure effective post-closing investor communications.
