- Define control framework and assess vendor assets management capability, evaluate the result and drive improvement and resolution
- Support the equipment re-use opportunity discussion with the global supply manager and the assets recovery team to maximize the CapEx reduction opportunity
- Actively work with global supply manager, functional teams and vendors to drive solutions and strategies for evolving changed regulations and customs rules related to asset import/transfer among locations, bonded/non-bonded zones
- Lead and represent business requirements from a Finance perspective to new sites/lines and work with the project team and the global supply manager to ensure business needs are covered and vendor sites are trained
- Work with Business Operations on operation cost review and drive the audit strategy and execution plan
- Design and document an E2E process to enable an efficient process and control on asset tracking and auditing for company-owned equipment and to safeguard assets moving/transferring in scattered geographical locations
- Identify opportunities to create synergy for standardized data flow among vendors, manufacturers to provide accurate information on company-owned assets
- Work with the project team to identify and implement an automated and scalable solution for the global assets tracking system
- Lead process improvement and change, set up an implementation plan, and drive the solution to ensure the plan is delivered across all sites
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of asset tracking between physical assets and SAP to safeguard accurate financial results
- Evaluate risk profile, propose audit methodology and support the controller on strategy approval yearly
- Plan and drive manufacturing add-on cost and equipment audit, and coordinate with vendor sites to ensure work is completed in an accurate manner
- Supervise internal and external staff during labor costing and equipment audit to provide timely and accurate reports and drive discrepancy resolution
- Work with Finance and Operations teams to ensure equipment records and financial results in eApproval and SAP are accurate and up to date
- Review and update the audit manual to ensure the most efficient and effective audit process is implemented to enable accurate financial findings and reflection on books timely manner.
- Provide and lead financial analysis on Operations assets and projects, and formulate recommendations to support growth expansion.
