Job Summary:

• Execute and implement high-level hands-on projects that assess power distribution reliability, efficiency, and capacity by ensuring electrical equipment such as substations, generators, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), static switches, fault fiters, lighting, and transformers are performing as designed and maintained properly.
• Work with technicians in providing engineering plant support in the maintenance and troubleshooting of electric motors, electrical panels, and contractor management.
• Responsibility and ownership for all aspects of the electrical system including code compliance, safe work practices, interdisciplinary coordination and communication, project status, reporting, schedule creation, and on-time execution in an interruption-free manner.
• Manage and ensure electrical equipment downstream of substations function properly and work with the site electrical engineering to coordinate substation work when dealing with voltages between 138kV and 480V.
• Develop procedures inclusive of hot work and switching order approvals, permit approvals, attend industry training courses, problem-solving, and cost estimating.
• Respond quickly to system alarms and potentially critical situations, perform rapid and accurate situational assessments and troubleshoot system components.
• Utilization of multimeters, meggers, oscilloscopes, and other electrical devices to troubleshoot electrical distribution in the field.
• Understand and construct root cause analysis and Failure Means Effects Analysis (FMEA) on electrical systems.
• Seek out and implement innovative solutions to improve the reliability and efficiency of the electrical systems to better support manufacturing.
• Support Warehouse and Transport Operations with Problem Solving
• Support the DC Local Leadership team in realizing yearly ambitions and targets.

Job Summary:

• Collaborating with architects, ASIC designers, Place & Route engineers and the Timing team to design and develop a high-frequency clock distribution network for CPU design.
• Engage with multiple teams and plan the global clock structure to satisfy all the architectural constraints.
• Understanding timing and place/route tools/flows would be helpful in delivering good-quality clocks.
• Analyzing new technology nodes, and spice models and identifying the right drivers and routing rules for various clock domains.
• Understand and design global clock tree structures to overcome sub-micron design challenges.

Job Summary:

• Review daily interruption and trouble reports to determine corrective action and analyze projected deficiencies (voltage levels, overloads, reliability performance, etc.).
• Investigates power quality concerns for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Conducts distribution load flow and fault current analysis in support of developing solutions for new DG/DER applications and large load additions.
• Develops reliability improvement and capacity-related projects, gains approval for selected alternatives and supports development of the Distribution Capital program.
• Provides engineering support to Field Engineering Design for large load additions that require substantial changes to the distribution system.
• Understands and follows the Company safety rules.
