Job Summary:

• Oversees the activities of the fixed-income portfolio managers and analysts. 
• Reviews and analyzes a wide range of information to maintain a high level of competency in financial markets and helps guide strategic investment decisions for the organization.
• Oversees the management of discretionary portfolios for individuals, institutional clients, and/or mutual funds in compliance with portfolio objectives and risk parameters. 
• Responsible for the development, coordination, and communication of competitive fixed-income strategies. 
• Works closely with other departments.
• Maintains relationships with institutional and high-net-worth individual clients. 
• Assists business development officers, trust professionals, and mutual fund wholesale efforts with a focus on client retention and asset growth. 
• Participates in the management, supervision and coordination of the resources of the department to communicate the strategic view and investment performance of the fixed income area to internal and external clients.
• Responsible for the management of all employees in the department including staffing, compensation, performance management, training and development, succession planning and affirmative action. 
• Provides guidance, support and direction to less experienced portfolio managers and analysts.

Job Summary:

• Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates to ensure that China Macro Strategy research coverage is aligned with the bank's footprint
• Contribute to the China Macro Strategy research team to help deliver world-class content in China macro strategy (FX, rates, credits)
• Engage with the banks' clients globally, including both investors and corporates that have exposure to China markets
• Partner with sales, trading, RMs, and other divisions with exposure (such as TB, China opening team), globally
• Contribute to cohesive, well-thought-out, differentiated research on the market segment
• Presenting product design, investment philosophy, process, resources, and results to internal and external clients.
• Creating and enhancing investment content for product positioning in collaboration with investment teams and marketing.

Job Summary:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive ongoing research agenda and program related to issues of most interest to clients in the selected area of specialization including the analysis of various industry trends, staying abreast of client preferences and asset owner/ professional buyer investment behavior in fixed income.
• Led the development of MFS's collateral for an enhanced client dialog and engagement model by working closely with both client-facing and investment management teams.
• Identifying and developing a perspective on investment topics that MFS's relationship management teams can bring to clients to build strategic partnerships.
• Integrate the perspectives and output of various fixed-income teams and lead the compilations and development of MFS house views, create and maintain presentations to support the investment teams in the relevant area of expertise.
• Travel with the institutional and retail teams to participate in client events, conferences, and road shows to communicate MFS views to develop and deepen client engagement in the EMEA region.
• Develop training tools, videos, white papers and discussion guides to enhance MFS's distribution expertise and dialog with retail and professional buyer clients.
• Attract retain and motivate the team to achieve management business objectives and maintain a favorable employee relations climate. 
• Responsible for the timely and effective management of Human Resources forms and documents relevant to immediate staff.
• Maintains fluency in all applicable regulations as well as internal policies, procedures, desktops and committee guidelines to provide oversight and interact with regulators, internal audit, compliance, as well as client and/or fund Boards of Directors.
