  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice or current national registration as dietician and state licensure or certification for the state of practice
  • Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDCES) credential issued by CBDCE 
  • Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education Specialists CDCES credential required or must be able to obtain within 24 months of employment.
  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education
  • Credentialed Diabetes Educator (CDE) with the Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA) or working towards
