Job Summary:

• Specific current product design changes, driven by warranty issues
• Work with and supervise suppliers, own projects within this area
• Drive production development of fixtures/ robot tooling/ robot programming.
• Complete PUWER assessments, and look at facility assets - PUWER.
• Assess how safe machines are within the facility
• Help identify who can resolve asset issues, supervise contractors to complete works
• Lead CAPEX/ expense projects to bring machines up to safety and compliance standards
• Manage asset register and asset identification, create and manage machine FMEA
• Manage critical spares analysis, obsolescence and procurement
• Understand machinery within the facility ensuring technical files are completed to meet machinery directive requirements
• Create/ revise the planned and predictive maintenance schedules across the site

Job Summary:

• Develop PPM routines for identified Safety critical plant, Environmentally critical plant and Reliability critical plant
• Work in a multi-disciplined team to ensure all aspects of maintenance are covered for each identified asset
• Liaise with the maintenance team and functional experts to ensure details of PPMs are understood and are achievable
• Ensure the equipment maintenance requirements from process hazard reviews are addressed
• Liaise weekly with the maintenance planners to discuss progress/ concerns
• Use FMECA to develop PPM requirements where they are not prescribed
• Understand and share best engineering practices for asset maintenance, incorporate into maintenance strategies and continuously explore ways to improve the performance of a range of assets and through this drive excellence in asset availability
• Ensure that for a range of assets, planned work maintenance regimes are in place, which deliver operational availability targets at optimum cost
• Ensure that asset expiry projections are communicated through Lead Engineers to customers on an ongoing basis such that replacement activity can be affected timely
