1. Roles of Design Engineer
- Drive creative solutions for design engineering challenges that unlock new capabilities, dynamic use and increased margin
- Develop, communicate and execute a design engineering strategy that accommodates aggressive growth

- Partner with the design teams to special features into new and existing products
2. Qualifications of Design Engineer
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience working as a design engineer, blade engineer, or equivalent, required
- Experienced in Fusion 360 and/or Auto Desk.
- Proven track record of personal and team member development
- Great individual coaching skills; proven experience required.
- Strong background in implementing process engineering fundamentals
- Expert knowledge of machine shop and mechanical assembly equipment and processes including machining, turning, grinding, finishing, and assembly expertise.
- Works collaboratively with other members of management in the identification, design, and development of people, products, and business process improvement.
- Develops, implements, and promotes design strategies to achieve manufacturing cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Oral and written communication skills and computer experience consistent with the requirements of the job
- Strong creative design skills and ability to interact with individuals at all levels in the organization
