WHAT IS A CREATIVE DIRECTOR ?
The Creative Director is in charge of a diverse creative team and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and various internal and external collaborators to develop innovative digital products and promotional campaigns. This includes creating impactful digital advertising, web content, videos, and marketing collateral. This position involves generating inventive ideas for renowned global brands, with equal proficiency in both conceptualization and execution. The Creative Director holds ultimate accountability for ensuring the high quality of all deliverables produced by the creative services department.

1. Creative Director Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage the creative process from concept to completion
- Lead the artistic development of digital advertising campaigns and creative projects for Playwire and its partners
- Lead and direct a cross-functional creative team of designers, video producers, and interactive developers
- Storyboard or translate ideas to designers and develop innovative motion graphics solutions
- Work cooperatively with account executives and clients
- Project management; oversee profitability, deliverables, timelines and budgets
- Create presentations and project plans, and ensure successful representation of our clients’ brands
- Oversee client pitches and proposals
- Ensure visual communication and that all projects and creative formats are built to the required specifications
- Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams
2. Creative Director Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Fine Arts, Advertising, or Graphic Design
- 6+ years of relevant experience in an agency setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience and demonstrated examples of transforming a strategic opportunity into best-in-class creative solutions
- Manage time and work efficiently and effectively to produce deliverables in a fast-paced, multi-project/agency environment
- Ability to guide and inspire a cross-functional creative team of designers, video producers, and interactive developers
- Ability to take designs from storyboard/comps to fully functional, engaging interactive experiences
- Knowledge of the latest industry trends and cutting-edge design methods
- Expert understanding of creative tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Celtra, and other tools relevant to the field, including HTML and CSS.
