Job Summary: 

• Maintains and administers medical surveillance programs for employees and volunteers (i.e., TB tests, flu vaccine, hepatitis B, etc.)
• Manages and maintains the agency's Personal Protective Equipment supply under the supervision of the Education Manager
• Serves as a lead contributor on the Safety Committee and develops, evaluates, and revises health and safety programs
• Delivers new employee health and safety orientation, annual safety, disaster, infection control, MSDS, etc., training and resources to meet the needs of employees
• Provides training to Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) staff as directed by the education manager
• Ensures proper documentation regarding clinical education, including Clinical Education Units (CEUs)
• Ensures preceptor programs adhere to the Agency’s policies and procedures with oversight from the Education Manager
• Works with the Education Manager to ensure that school contracts and/or Program Letter of Agreements are current before the preceptee starts preceptor programs
• Helps facilitate preceptees’ educational objectives and goals with oversight from the education manager
• Coordinates and schedules the medical students’ rotations for the preceptor program
• Facilitates orientations and clinical training for preceptor programs and maintains record-keeping
• Acts as a liaison between the Clinical teams and Education
• Ensures proper documentation and auditing of new employees, annual competencies, and federal trainings
