- Update recipes and costings after each stage of development (where applicable) so not to hold up the production timeline, and communicate these to the relevant teams
- Passionately present samples at each stage of the scale-up process, providing confidence that the recipe is working as hoped, and discuss any proposed changes to the method and cost if needed
- Ensure new ingredients are delivered within the spec and on time
- Understand how new and existing ingredients perform through the operation and note any trends
- Manage the stock holding of all 200 batches, ensuring that all samples are accounted for
- Build strong relationships with each department of the Kitchen to enable a collaborative approach to development
- Conduct formal product evaluation cuttings with key team members within the organization.
- Perform statistical analyses on product testing results.
- Prepare monthly reports of the results of analytical and evaluative work.
- Inventory and order supplies for the QA Laboratory/Innovation Center.
