• Design and install audio wiring into vehicles
• Design and build customer acoustic enclosures to specifications.
• Vehicle tear down and assembly

• Attending and providing constructive feedback in kick-off meetings and other meetings

Job Summary:

• Build tooling to hold the work piece
• Setup and operate Press Break per drawing to meet product conformity
• Observe operation of machine and verify conformance of work piece to specifications using standard measuring tools
• Replace cutting tools to meet product conformity
• Deburr, Sand, work pieces to meet product conformity
• Read the blueprint and the job traveler specifications to determine the proper tooling required to set up each operation
• Provide skilled labor in the design, fabrication, prototyping, modification, and installation of research equipment in and around research laboratory facilities and other locations in support of scientific research.
• Perform duties by OSHA regulations and industry best practices to ensure the safety of oneself (e.g., personal protective equipment), other building occupants and the facility in which work is performed.

Job Summary:

• Responsible for participating in department safety training and assisting in development of strong shop floor safety culture and environment. 
• Assist in development of Safety SOPs, Job Hazard Analysis, and Ergonomic Improvements.
• Responsible for developing annual cost reduction initiatives
• Participate in department cycle counting and inventory control
• Active participant in development of work instructions and standard operating procedures for all fabrication processes.
• Operate all fabrication equipment in all cells, socket fusion, butt fusion and back welding.
• Monitor and evaluate fabrication processes to ensure consistent control.
• Must have ability to measure critical dimensions of fittings using calipers, pi tapes and micrometers.
• Record machine settings as a means to maintain proper control of a manufacturing process.

• Fabricate and assemble composite and wood parts to tolerances as specified on drawings.
• Locate and layout trim lines onto workpiece
• Trim, drill, ream, countersink, grind, and finish composite and or wood parts to specifications using hand or power tools
