Job Summary:

• Spearhead the physical rebuild of the QuarryHouse Fabrication Shop to create an optimal high-end, versatile, single-project focused fabrication shop.
• Review projects with the QuarryHouse Head Estimator and produce shop budgets for inclusion in QuarryHouse proposals for new work.
• Study QuarryHouse’s current and expansion markets with Sales Executives for ways to drive consistent, quality work into the fabrication shop.
• Assist the Operations team in selecting the highest quality material, noting and commenting on potential issues and liabilities with specified materials and identified individual lots of materials
• Directing procurement in conjunction with Estimating and Operations, completing raw material takeoffs (slab takeoffs, block takeoffs, etc) to determine raw material and wastage for effective project execution.
• Review project drawings, sketches and other design documents to determine the information required for full fabrication drawings 
• Produce comments, markups and other feedback for the Operations management team to communicate to designers and client to inform final design.
