Job Summary:

• Responsible for Technical role in the stage of New Project/ New Product with direct fabrication process including welding, cutting, and bending knowledge process.
• Responsible for process creation & development to gain more productivity, preparing or designing tooling, jig/fixture, machines and areas to build up new operations including direct contact with external departments/ vender in the first stage.
• Coordinate with department concerns or members to analyze, find out and prevent other problems in the fabrication area.
• Responsible for preparing production documents, working standards and training production workers.
• Co-operating with another department on workflow especially Quality & Safety functions.
• Reading and understanding of engineering drawings.
• Logging completed work on a CMMS system following completion of work.
• Working as part of a team to complete breakdowns as well as working individually to get Preventative maintenance completed in a set time frame.
• Develop and optimize the fabrication process of superconducting quantum processors.
• Work closely with the rest of the fabrication team on delivering quantum processors.

Job Summary:

• Leading and motivating the Employer's site team
• Measure and report fabrication performance
• Identify and report risks and potential issues
• Support the UK-based Fabrication Manager and Quality Manager in case of Technical Queries, Expert Advice, Changes, Commercial issues and any other relevant issues and discussions.
• Manage the relationship with the EPCI contractor, the fabricator and all stakeholders
• Support and monitor the EPCI contractor's fabrication inspection team to ensure that all ITP intervention points are being adhered to and the Employer's Requirements are being respected
• Participate with the Employers Site Team in technical meetings, toolbox meetings, safety meetings (risk assessments, HAZOP's, HAZID's, SIMOPS's, etc) with both the EPCI Contractor & Fabrication Contractor
• Follow-up on fabrication issues with the Project Team, the EPCI Contractor & the Fabrication Contractor.
• Review of EPCI Contractors/Fabrication Contractors progress, quality, fabrication reports
• Participation in Fabrication Contractors/sub-contractors Material Record Books (As-Built documentation) Reviews and Completeness Checks.
• Participate with the Employer's site team in any testing and verification walk downs prior to Load out
• Follow-up with the Employer's site team on the results of testing and verification walk-downs ensuring that any snag items are closed prior to load-out
• Review and comment on plans/drawings/specifications/methods
