Job Summary: 

• Operate a dump truck but not limited to that type of truck.
• Perform pre-trip inspection on the truck.
• Transport and deliver construction materials to projects on time.
• Perform other duties or operate other types of trucks.
• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
• Exercise good judgment regarding work site access, unloading, and operation to and from work site
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, report defects and repairs to the maintenance department
• Conduct daily pre-trip inspection of truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, and oil
• Comply with all DOT, state, and local traffic and highway laws, rules, and regulations and safely operate all equipment
• Operate other heavy equipment and other construction-related duties

Job Summary: 

• Pull or push levers to dump materials
• Move hand and foot controls to move the truck forward and backward to aid in the placement of material
• Perform other related duties, such as lifting and moving transported material
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies following CDL pre-trip and post-trip guidelines
• Use hand tools when necessary
• Take responsibility for pre and post-trip inspections.
• Check the vehicle to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Maintain contact with the dispatcher.
• Maneuver truck into loading or unloading positions, following signals from the loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Follow all JTJ Transport INC safety procedures and safety standards
• Refuel and clean the truck

Job Summary: 

• Thorough daily inspection of truck and trailer including tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water.
• Load and Unload material and equipment to be transported.
• Secure the load with straps and/or chains to ensure safe delivery.
• Timely delivery of material and equipment on time.
• Maintain company ELOG system as directed by State mandate.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including oil/filter changes, taking oil samples, etc.
• Perform safety inspections on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment (service truck).
• Meet all company, governmental, and equipment-specific safety requirements.
• Pass DOT physical and must know DOT regulations.
• Complete daily consumables report to record hours, fuel, and oil usage, and provide information for input.
