Job Summary: 

• Represents SPUR Freight services in offering unparalleled customer service.
• Provides local cartage services while operating a tractor-trailer truck (or other truck as assigned if local) over intercity routes and at times spanning several states.
• Ensures timeliness of client delivery by proactively anticipating any delivery challenges and ensuring timely departure.
• Loads and unloads cargo per client’s specifications.
• Keeps accurate delivery and inventory records for assigned delivery cargo.

• Handles general fleet maintenance including, appropriate fueling, cleaning of truck, washing of windows, full inspection of truck before and after the trip and proactive reporting of any maintenance needs.
