We are seeking a Driver who embodies meticulous attention to vehicle maintenance, ensuring that all aspects, from brakes to fuel, are thoroughly inspected and ready for diverse operational scenarios. This role encompasses not only the responsibility for the upkeep of the vehicle but also extends to the physical aspects of loading and unloading materials. Additionally, the Driver will oversee the transportation and disposal of site debris and handle the lifting and carrying of heavy equipment. A crucial part of this position is the ability to plan and schedule effectively, guaranteeing efficient delivery operations and contributing to the general site cleanup when necessary.

Driver Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drives and picks up students, clients, and parents
- Maintains and updates route sheets including left & rights (directions)
- Maintains good order among the students on the bus following school policies
- Completes daily bus safety check
- Checks and adds fuel, oil, and water
- Ensures bus is maintained in a safe operating condition
- Submits reports on mechanical defects and other reports as assigned
- Attends driver safety meetings
- Uses good judgment concerning laws, policies, and rules while operating their assigned

Driver Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience preferred, but not required as hands on training is provided
- Valid Class B license with Passenger Endorsement highly preferred (will consider Class C license with more experience)
- DL 51 medical card will be required, if hired
- Current and active CPR/ First Aid preferred (will sponsor this training)
- Have high school diploma or equivalent
- 2 points or less on a Department of Motor Vehicles H6 printout (must provided if hired)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- TB Test required (must have been done within the past 12 months) upon hire
- DOJ/FBI clearance will be required upon hire

2. The Driver is responsible for operating the vehicle under various weather conditions, ensuring the pickup, loading, unloading, and delivery of tools and equipment to multiple sites throughout the day. Additionally, the Driver will provide assistance with site clean-up as needed.
Driver Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintains the vehicle and performs all inspections of brakes, oil, tires, light and gas.
- Drive in all weather and traffic conditions.
- Loads and unloads materials from the truck and van.
- Lift and carry machinery, tools and equipment.
- Perform general site cleanup when required and take debris to the city dump to unload.
- Plans, schedules, records all deliveries.
Driver Skills, Abilities and Experience:
- Knowledge of building materials, tools and equipment.
- Ability to plan and document routes, mileage, schedules and follow written and verbal directions.

3. The Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of both the Implementation and Service departments, by managing the timely and organized transport of both staff and materials to and from project and service locations. Furthermore, this position assists with the overall maintenance of the office and warehouse. Effective and swift communication, superior driving capabilities, and a professional attitude are key to excelling in this role.
Driver Details:

- Review packing slip against materials staged, sign off if correct
- Assure techs fill out materials return slip when materials get picked up for job site
- Communicate primarily via text message
- Acknowledge every message received with OK or COPY THAT to let the dispatcher know you’ve received the message
- Only read or type messages when not in traffic
- Do not read or type messages when stopped at red lights, etc.
- Only read or type messages when legally pulled to the side of the road or at a destination
- Send a message to the coordinator immediately prior to leaving each location, including the office. Say, “heading to [next location] with [list passengers or cargo]”
- If the dispatcher needs to re-direct you mid-run he will call you
- Hands-free is always preferred. there are charging cords in each vehicle to help facilitate hands-free interactions with smart phones.
- No using bluetooth headsets or hands-free technology in construction zones.
Driver Requirements:

- Wash vehicles – use car wash at Milito’s on Fullerton west of Sheffield
- Wipe down interiors for dust
- Remove trash
- Keep vehicles fueled
- Fill tires with proper air pressure
- Replacement bulbs for turn signals, wiper blades, etc.
- Keep fluids topped off
- All services to be performed at Progressive Auto Service
- All receipts for gas, service, or other materials must be annotated per Premiere policy and filed on time
- General office and inventory maintenance
- Review and perform tasks on warehouse task list as time allows
