• Manage data center operations following industry best practices to ensure operational stability
• Monitor and analyse the DCIM system to assist in proactively detecting potential issues
• Perform periodic inspections of equipment installs to ensure correct placement and inventory
• Manage and maintain system deployment to support data centre automation and analytics
• Manage incident, problem and change management requests in ITSM to agreed SLAs
• Ensure adherence to audit and compliance reviews by documenting all processes and procedures
• Support break/fix hardware failures, coordinating with internal support teams and vendor(s)
• Support data centre capacity management initiatives to support future equipment growth
• Drive standardization and consistency across multiple programs by authoring runbooks, CONOPS, and SOPs and socializing these cross functionally to ensure organizational alignment.

Job Summary: 

• Overall responsible Point-of Contact (POC) for the security posture for the facility and personnel, primary POC to the government (eg. Clearance processing, validating, visitor requests, etc.). 
• Drive execution of a holistic Security Program and its respective projects (i.e. Personnel, Physical, Operational, and Informational Security) across multiple project managers, teams, and organizations.
• Support the design, delivery, and operation of Secure Datacentres to support the growth of Microsoft’s hyper scale cloud engineering footprint.
• Work closely with Datacentre Construction, Design, and Integration teams to ensure projects are proceeding in compliance with the strictest government security standards.
• Plan, manage, and communicate end-to-end project plans to stakeholders and customers.
• Synthesize customer security and operations requirements into actionable tasks develop auditable processes to ensure continued compliance with these requirements.
• Proactively identify risks to project schedule and budget and highlight these risks to leadership along with potential risk mitigation measures.
• Implement design reviews for datacenter construction projects to ensure projects are continually adhering to the agreed upon accreditation standards.

• Supports the ongoing testing of disaster recovery plans to ensure adequate recovery time as per the pre-defined SLAs to ensure timely resolution

• Partner closely with Program Management Office organization to ensure organizational alignment on program goals and milestone status.
• Develop strict construction security procedures to ensure integrity of project sites, equipment and material.
• Establish cadence for regular review of RFIs and change orders that impact security.
