• Responsible for the development and maintenance of HEDU classroom and online course assets. 
• Negotiate with (and management of) Haag professional services staff assignments for course development and maintenance budgets and timelines.

• Be trained in Haag philosophy and methodology and must always uphold Haag’s scientific standards and in training.
• Supervise compliance coordinator and provide direction and assistance when needed to maintain Haag’s CE providers along with course and instructor approvals for all HEDU classes.

• Provide office operational support HEDU customer service, and department sales support

• Oversee development of curricula, with an emphasis on principles of racial equity and social justice and appropriate for the developmental needs of children (grades K-8) in an after-school setting across multiple sites in Manhattan and Brooklyn
• Researchand coordinate the use of age-appropriate, standards-based curriculum to ensure participants learn through a variety of fun and engaging activities
• Work in collaboration with the Director, Site Coordinator and Education Specialist to identify themes and objectives aligned with the day-school curriculum

• Experience with instructional design approaches, evidenced-based design and experiential learning approaches for online 
• Proficiency with industry standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Suite including Storyline, Vyond, Audacity, etc.)
• Experience in analyzing and using data to make informed decisions
• Ability to identify key performance indicators, outlining objectives for content development and implementation, and using these to define data collection.
• Experience managing content in a Learning Management System, including SCORM/AICC concepts and workday Learning experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with virtual web-based training using Adobe Connect and/or Microsoft Teams
• Highly proficient with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms, Outlook)
• Experience as a K-12 teacher or in a school setting.

Qualifications: BS in Instructional Design with 4 years of Experience

• Strong school-level mathematical qualifications (e.g. GCSE and A levels, or equivalent)
• Recent classroom teaching experience of upper KS2 or KS3 students
