Job Summary:

• Worked as the Data Conversion Analyst/Lead for the Data Conversion project where the legacy data resides in AS/400, MS Access, MS Excel, and My SQL
• Understand the legacy data, target data model (Salesforce Data Model), data cleansing strategies & approaches and create data mapping
• Work closely with the Product Owner, business SME Data Stewards and vendor to ensure that data cleansing and conversion activities are done as per the agreed upon process, standards
• Provide industry best practice and guidance on Data Conversion to the Project team and SMEs
• Lead the Project cutover plan
• Implement Data Governance by incorporating processes, policies, guidelines and responsibilities for administering the Assessor’s entire data in compliance with policy and/or regulatory obligations
• Experience in using Agile Methodology by participating in Scrum and Sprints
• Review and validate the source to target mapping of data elements in the Data cleansing Database, and map them back to corresponding data elements in the legacy data source
• Perform various types of analysis for data extraction, and data profiling such as uniqueness analysis, range analysis etc.
• Document the detailed Data Cleansing Requirements, Business and Data Rules, and list of data values based on the findings from Data Profiling
• Test the data extraction, data profiling, data cleansing process standardization and load process thoroughly to make sure that requirements are met
