Job Summary: 

• Responsible for the overall British Council Cloud strategy Architecture and deployment, and for the cost-effectiveness of Cloud solutions
• Supervise usage of Cloud Infrastructure and Platform in a consistent manner across the organisation
• Promote the use of ready Cloud elements in the projects and Programmes, particularly elements supporting Digital strategy. 
• Lead in the deployment of Cloud platform capabilities such as Customer Access Management, Integration, Data Management
• Work with other affected systems owners to facilitate the use of the common platform, optimize Cloud use and contract model, achieving the desired level of global availability at the optimal cost.
• Work with the Programmes and business stakeholders to define how business requirements may be achieved using Cloud tools
• Participate in Process Governance for the Domain, be responsible for the Architecture Governance for the selected Domain and help drive the Architecture Governance for the whole Organisation
• To be the custodian and person accountable to oversee the planning, development and maintenance of current and planned state architectural Cloud blueprint in collaboration with design and development solution architects.

• Responsible for Pre-Sales and delivering Cloud Solutions to be executed across the businesses Cloud Business to mobilize behind the emerging Cloud and DC Market.
