• Define the overall strategy for public cloud cost management and its lifecycle at Bupa, with a particular focus toward Microsoft Azure.
• Lead a small team to operate Bupa’s cloud cost reporting and optimisation capability, self-service cost reporting platform, cost recovery processes and evolving these in line with business and technology objectives.
• Proactively engage stakeholders to understand and manage costs. 
• Build constructive relationships with a variety of stakeholders involved with cost, including technology and finance leaders, application owners, engineers, and finance analysts.
• Lead cost optimisation and tracking processes. Identify opportunities to optimise cloud costs and partner with designers, engineers, and technical managers to implement and track the benefits of these opportunities.
• Optimise cloud pricing and rates. 
• Oversee a portfolio of cloud financial commitments and consumption and support contractual processes to optimize rates.
• Identify, prioritize, and sequence capabilities required to deliver results for multiple new cross-functional initiatives.
• Identify, track, monitor and facilitate alignment of cross project inter-dependencies
• Lead large scale innovative engagements across workstreams providing subject matter expertise.

• Define and improve public cloud strategy in close alignment with the technology team, the group as well as various business partners
