Sitting at the intersection of clinical resource leadership and staff performance management, the Clinic Supervisor manages patient assignments, staff orientation and service recovery activities while upholding institutional priorities, policies and practices across clinic operations. Operating across departments and clinics, this role advances patient and employee retention by facilitating training, mediating conflicts and serving as a liaison for services offered by the office, with direct accountability for maintaining clinical competencies and BLS certification requirements.


Job Functions

  • Assign staff to patients per current clinic workload.
  • Consider acuity, staff experience and competency, learning needs and patient complexity when determining assignments.

Technical Qualifications

  • Basic Life Support certification or higher per unit specific requirements required.
  • Two years of related supervisory or management experience required.
  • Excellent written, verbal and computer skills required.
  • Demonstrated abilities in problem solving, leadership, communication, fiscal responsibility and teamwork.
  • Able to work effectively in groups of employees and with patients and patient families.
  • Must obtain and maintain clinical competencies as appropriate.
