• University degree in Computer Science or Business IT.
• At least one year of experience in an enterprise IT application support role, working with applications such as Oracle E-Business Suite or another ERP system, including SAP, JDE, or MS Dynamics.
• Experience querying relational database systems, including Oracle 11g and DB2, using SQL.
• Experience in Java, HTML, JavaScript, J2EE, JUnit, and XML is an advantage.
• Experience working with a ticketing system to triage, investigate, and resolve incidents and requests.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Sitting at the intersection of HR operations and enterprise technology, the Business Systems Analyst strengthens system performance by executing SOX controls, configuring Workday modules including Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence, and creating business requirement documents that drive solution implementation across payroll and HR functions. Operating as a partner to IT support providers, functional business leads, and broader organizational stakeholders, this role applies deep Workday expertise and knowledge of HR data models to identify process improvements and ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.

Job Functions

• Support operational needs, including executing SOX controls, configurations for legislative and company requirements, and troubleshooting production bugs.
• Create business requirement documents for new system features and enhancements.
• Support systems-related project execution in direct partnership with IT, and measure and document business results achieved through solution implementation.
• Support business stakeholders, including reporting, access maintenance, and other day-to-day duties.
• Support and facilitate partnership between IT support providers and functional business leads.
• Identify areas of improvement to increase accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and implement solutions across process, policy, and operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or Business.
• Master's degree in a relevant business or technical discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of professional Business Analyst experience.
• 5 years of overall systems experience, with at least 3 years of Workday configuration or support, including Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, and integration experience.
• Experience with ADP Globalview backend and reporting, and with the PICOF and PECI integrations.
• Strong understanding of HR data models, including core HR, transactions, security, and business processes.
• Knowledge of systems analysis techniques, including root cause analysis and process modeling.
• Proficient in Workday EIB, Studio, and Integration Cloud Connect, including packaged integrations and connectors for integrating Workday data models with third-party systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or Google Sheets.
