13. Business Continuity Analyst (Portfolio & Program Delivery)
A key member of the enterprise resilience and IT governance function, the Business Continuity Analyst refines BCM program deliverables and portfolio backlogs while applying expert knowledge of Business Continuity principles to coach team members and champion business resilience initiatives. Collaborating across delivery teams, project managers, and cross-portfolio stakeholders, this role ensures that change projects, mitigation strategies, and ITGC controls advance effectively through structured planning and coordinated execution.
Areas of Ownership
- Maintain related documentation including SOPs, application manuals, and end-user guidelines.
- Participate in BIA reviews of products, services, and vendors to proactively identify risks and ensure continuity and recovery requirements are addressed.
- Monitor and drive successful completion of BCM program deliverables and portfolio backlog in coordination with delivery teams and project managers.
- Identify potential bottlenecks in delivery of strategic initiatives, manage interdependencies and resourcing, and communicate with delivery and project managers.
- Provide cross-team collaboration on mitigation strategies including prioritization and planning activities.
- Participate in and support change projects such as business process re-engineering for ITGC controls, Cyber Security, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery.
- Apply expert knowledge of Business Continuity principles and practices while coaching team members and championing business resilience initiatives.

Education & Experience
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 4 or more years of experience in enterprise application support and incident management, with 5 or more years applying methods to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for business resiliency plans.
- 4 or more years of project and program management experience in an Agile or hybrid-Agile delivery model, with certification such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or SAFe preferred.
- Familiarity with GRC frameworks, SOX, ITGC controls, SDLC, ITIL, Lean methods, and ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Experience with portfolio management tools such as Aha!, Jira, DevOps, and ServiceNow, along with process modeling and business process discovery methods.
- Solid knowledge across business and technology organizations with experience working in cross-portfolio or matrix environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and communicate with stakeholders at all levels, share knowledge, and adapt communication style to diverse audiences.
