Ownership Areas

• Establish and supervise CAD scope for the project team, schedule and plan workload, and define key interfaces with project stakeholders.
• Assign discipline project tasks and ensure timely delivery of all discipline deliverables within quality, budget, and safety targets.
• Manage and communicate change control for their discipline and impacted stakeholders, and report work status to discipline and project managers.

Background and Experience

• Higher technical degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant and successful experience in a multi-disciplinary design office or equivalent client team.
• Demonstrated BIM experience using Autodesk Revit in design consultancy and/or client-site environments.
• Experience managing and leading 3D design reviews, BIM coordination including space management, model exchange, and clash management.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English, with Dutch as a bonus.

What You'll Do

• Participate in structural design and drawings for infrastructure projects including coordination between architectural, structural, and technical design.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of Revit experience in structural design projects in a BIM environment, preferably including infrastructure projects such as tunnels and bridges.
• Good knowledge of Autodesk Revit, component/family creation, clash detection, and schedules within a BIM environment.
• Experience with parametric design and an international mindset.
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English, with knowledge of additional languages welcome.

The BIM Coordinator guides BIM implementation and smart tools development by working on Revit models, leading client project meetings, generating BIM documentation such as BEPs and EIRs, and performing spatial clash detection and compliance checks in line with ISO19650 methodology. The digital engineering team depends on the BIM Coordinator to mentor new trainees, support coordinators, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders on technical issues and solutions.

Engineering Responsibilities

• Work on BIM/Revit models with a strong understanding of the BIM methodology including ISO19650.
• Support the Head of BIM in pushing forward BIM implementation and smart tools development.
• Lead project meetings with direct and indirect clients and provide BIM technical support for modellers and coordinators.
• Generate BIM documentation such as BEPs, EIRs, and MIDPs.
• Perform BIM-related tasks including spatial clash detection, drawing exports, compliance checks, and improving model efficiency following project routines.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager.
• Good understanding of standard company BIM structure and BIM methodology requirements across engineering fields.
• Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, Dynamo, and Excel, with good knowledge of Unreal Engine and data visualisation software such as Power BI.
• Knowledge of multimedia software such as Adobe Premiere or Photoshop is desirable.
• Strong verbal communication and time management skills, with ability to work with minimal supervision and supervise personnel.

Reporting to the BIM Manager, the BIM Coordinator provides technical support to project team members by setting up and maintaining project BIM models, performing coordination exercises and clash detection, and monitoring model quality against project-specific BIM requirements and company standards. Partnering with architects and engineers, the BIM Coordinator delivers feedback on training, workflow, and content needs to continuously strengthen BIM output across large-scale and complex projects.

• Knowledge of Dynamo/Grasshopper, legacy CAD applications, Common Data Environment practices, and Rhino to Revit interoperability is highly beneficial.
