Based within the shared services and consolidations finance team, this role interacts across multiple finance teams and business units to see strategic and ad hoc deliverables through to completion.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Support key functional customers with decision support, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
- Perform month-end and quarter-end driver analysis and strategic and ad hoc analysis.
- See deliverables through to completion while working across various finance teams and business units.
- Communicate findings clearly with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree; or Associate's degree with 2+ years of Accounting experience
- High School Diploma with 4+ years of Accounting experience.
- Experience within a tech industry; familiar with accounting and budgeting systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, IBM TM1, Oracle, HFM, and Tableau.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with high learning motivation.
15. Associate Financial Analyst (Product & Technology Finance)
As the Associate Financial Analyst, this role builds financial analysis that drives growth and operational efficiencies for Product & Technology leaders, covering month-end processing, budget versus actual review, trend analysis, and ad hoc projects. The Product & Technology organization relies on this work to ensure expenses are recorded accurately, process improvements are sustained, and senior leadership receives timely financial data to support real-time business decisions.
Scope of Work
- Provide financial analysis to drive growth and operational efficiencies including month-end processing, budget vs. actual review, and trend analysis.
- Communicate financial and accounting information and trends to the senior leadership team to support real-time business decisions.
- Partner with accounting to ensure expenses are recorded accurately.
- Drive continual process improvements.
- Perform ad hoc analysis as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- 1 year of financial analysis and forecasting experience.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills.
- Experience with IBM Planning Analytics/TM1 or comparable technology preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
