  • Successful leadership experience (leadership, research, public health) that will translate into building partnerships with the School of Public Health and other entities on the Anschutz Medical Campus 
  • Experience in higher education or working with higher education or institutions/nonprofits affiliated with higher education and the medical arts 
  • A terminal degree in an area of the arts and/or an advanced degree in public health 
  • Experience mentoring faculty, students, and/or staff in research and creative work 
  • Experience reviewing and providing guidance with internal and external funding/grant submissions  
  • Evidence working at the intersection of the arts and social justice 
  • An understanding of the exceptional opportunities for arts and media students to thrive in the 21st Century creative economy 
  • Experience in developing and sustaining programs between arts/media and public health
