Partnering with other trades on site, this role advances environmental and quality programs while ensuring project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are consistently followed.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Monitor work performance to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are followed.
• Coordinate material deliveries.
• Advise the Superintendent and Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences, and schedule difficulties, and assist in resolving them.
• Coordinate with other trades on the project and communicate the concerns and best interests of the project effectively.
• Maintain and analyze up-to-date cost reports and submit necessary changes to ensure the project is delivered within budget.
• Provide leadership and active support for environmental and quality programs on the project.

Professional Experience

• Construction-related degree or diploma required.
• Five years of construction experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience.
• Knowledge of heavy civil work and tunnel construction.
• Working knowledge of scheduling, project management, and contract software.
• Ability to identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes, and produce workable solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license required.

• Valid driver's license required.
