WHAT IS AN ACCOUNT SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE ?

The Account Services Representative will serve as the primary liaison between the client's school districts and plan participants. This role entails managing the enrollment and eligibility database, overseeing premium billing, and facilitating communication with client's benefits representatives and plan participants.

1. Account Services Representative Roles and Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain enrollment records.
  • Review all enrollment forms and documentation to determine eligibility criteria have been satisfied. 
  • Update coordination of benefits information.
  • Have a working knowledge of plan policies and benefit coverage.
  • Respond to questions and inquiries to the school district / Client.
  • Respond to member inquiries on behalf of the Executive Director.
  • Assists members with resolving benefit issues with the plan’s TPA’s.
  • Interacts with client vendors/TPA’s regarding eligibility inquiries.

2. Account Services Representative Requirements and Qualifications

  • Associates Degree and Experience in a similar position.
  • Health Benefit knowledge a must.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to take direction and follow-up.
  • Good written Communication.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Adaptability to change.
  • Interpersonal skills to service clients.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively use time management.
