1. Sales Engineer Functions

  • Proactively approach and develop new markets and accounts
  • Prepare competitive customer quotations based on customer needs through conducting site inspections or interviewing customer
  • Establish annual sales plan for the territory
  • Log all sales activities, actions, calls and quotes in the system
  • Evaluate the success at the end of the projects from a customers and company’s perspective and submit monthly reports
  • Sales forecasting – accurate as possible and delivered on time

2. Sales Engineer Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineer or equivalent
  • Excellent product or service knowledge including technical aspects, as well as the potential benefits a product could have for a customer
  • Excellent knowledge of sales and marketing techniques such as cold emailing and networking at events
  • Knowledge of the latest industry trends, innovations, and developments
  • HVAC / Building maintenance or related field experience
  • Previous experience in a Sales role
  • Previous experience in forecasting and P&L desirable
  • Good English skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently
  • Ready to travel frequently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with people at all levels and in a multicultural environment is an advantage
