- Import Coordination: Understand and support import processes while working in a team environment to fulfill all local requirements.
- Logistics Strategy: Develop a logistics strategy for new assignments such as the DEMO process, the distribution process, and the international transportation process.
- Requisition Review: Conduct purchase requisition review and approval.
- Contract Support: Support contract creation and review.
- Process Improvement: Support various process improvement initiatives in the EMEA Supply Chain organization.
- Kanban Implementation: Support the implementation of Kanban in the R&D environment.
29. Supply Chain Intern Responsibilities
- Sales Analysis: Analyze sales trends versus forecasts.
- Forecast Management: Work with the sales team on reviewing and updating the forecast.
- System Administration: Create new codes in the SAP system.
- Baseline Update: Update the baseline forecast in the system.
- SKU Management: Update phase-in and phase-out of SKUs.
- Master Data Management: Manage master data in the system.
- Data Maintenance: Review and update Excel files with the latest information.
- Material Tracking: Track raw materials from the time of purchase to the time of receipt.
- Item Master Maintenance: Work within the Item Master and update via instruction from the Site Buyer/Planner.
- Warehouse Support: Assist the Warehouse team with any incoming receipt issues.
