• Make a certification plan, prepare certification materials
• Conduct Pre-test and debug the failures.

Job Summary: 

• Assist product design teams in developing suitable test plans for EMC testing
• Perform EMC testing according to approved test standards and methods
• Assist design teams in debugging a product that encounters issues during EMC testing
• Develop, write, and approve test reports and other documentation to support EMC technical files for NI’s products
• Project manage products through 3rd party certification agencies (NRTLs, CBs), mitigating issues, and staying within budget and completion dates
• Investigate technical complaints and product failures and support accreditation efforts by engaging in technical audits locally, adhering to ISO 17025 and NI’s QMS
• Represent NI by participating in standards/industry committees and/or associations.
• Communicate project status and test results to R&D clients, sales personnel, and management throughout testing.

• Supervise and hands-on with the testing of products and determine compliance with agency standards
• Determine the applicable standards to apply for a given unit under test

• Perform EMC audits of existing products to ensure continued compliance
• Determine proper means of configuring unit-under-test to satisfy test modes
• Electromagnetic environment definition and test planning for: lighting, RF, static, EMC
• Requirements planning, design strategies for EME test planning and execution
