• Understand the strip manufacturing process. 
• Designs and performs Design Of Experiments (DOE)
• Leads and conducts data analysis in identifying root causes of strip performance issues. 
• Leads necessary design changes for continuous improvement of UA strip manufacturing
• Performs urinalysis tests, QC, and instrument maintenance on automatic analyzer. 
• Performs proficiency testing, and Leads with laboratory accreditation requirements. 
• Performs specimen collection as necessary
• Formulates test solutions in both laboratory and strip production environment
• Sets up, adjusts, maintains and cleans laboratory equipment.
• Analyzes the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices
