• Implement best practices in relation to the procurement and appointment of property managers/professional teams/contractors, and keep abreast of market trends.
• Monitor property managers to ensure compliance with all legal agreements as well as regulatory, statutory, building regulations, and industry norms.

Job Summary: 

• Direct a team of Investment Analysts and take responsibility for trade management functions, including accuracy and completeness of trade entry, broker affirmation/confirmation, and timely communication of completed trades to downstream accounting systems.
• Primarily responsible for the Order Management Systems, trade and company data, processes, and management reporting required to support the asset classes, including reconciliations, transaction reporting, system upgrades, configuration, advancements, process redesign, new functionality, best practices, and regulatory changes.
• Interact professionally with outside vendors, brokers, data providers, and other groups.
• Anticipate and provide solutions to complex business, securities, and operations processes.
• Provide direct support of the Investment Operations, Pricing, and Valuation processes.
• Work closely with Internal Audit and external auditors, Investment Controllership, Front Office personnel, and others in performing assigned investment operations functions.
• Direct associate management, including performance management, salary planning and administration, training and development, workflow and organizational planning, hiring and placement, and disciplinary actions.
• Communicate effectively and represent the officer/executive.
• Attend trade association meetings as a company representative.
• Work directly with Front Office and IT staff on prioritizing technology requests for new and/or enhanced services.
