Job Summary:

• Establishes and enforces rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among students.
• Maintains inventory of educational materials and supplies.
• Provides extra help to students outside of the classroom
• Provides transportation of program participants
• Ensures supervision and safety of students at all times, individually and in groups.
• Enforces all YRS policies and procedures.
• Keeps management and other staff informed of any necessary information regarding the care and safety of the children.
• Works cooperatively and communicates effectively with other teachers and other staff.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings, program events, and other meetings as requested.
• Conducting classroom activities, teachers oversee milieu time, supervise extracurricular activities, and accompany students on field trips.
• Facilitate the teaching and implementation of appropriate lesson plans and programs to assigned students and of assigned content areas. 
• Implement and develop behavioral strategies to encourage the success of students in the classroom and will communicate regularly with the team regarding Behavior Assessments and or Behavior Support Plans (BSP’s).

Job Summary:

• Provide students with basic direction, instruction and assistance in designated area(s) of instruction.
• Conduct integrated lessons, and participate in formal learning teams.
• Complete and participate in weekly evaluations of student progress panels.
• Develop and conduct enrichment programs
• Monitor area outcomes weekly.
• Participate in required staff training.
• Promote the development of Career Success Standards by modeling appropriate behaviors, mentoring students
• Monitoring both positive and negative behaviors through interventions.
• Develop lesson plans that integrate academics and correlate with skills pertinent to a career pathway.
• Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems and study habits
• Coordinate with counselors and staff as necessary to resolve issues affecting student training.

• Attend IEP and parent conferences when necessary and provide appropriate daily/weekly and quarterly communication to parents and school districts regarding the student’s activities, progress and behavior.
