1. About the Role
The Category Planner owns the demand forecast and open-to-buy for an assigned category, translating market performance data and range review findings into inventory decisions that determine what ends up on shelves - and what sells through before markdown. Stock turn and sell-through rate are the numbers this role answers to weekly. Sitting within the planning function and interfacing daily with buying, supply chain, and marketing, the Category Planner converts insight into committed plans.
2. Position Summary

3. Why Join Us
Career Impact: Owning an OTB and managing range reviews from ranging through sell-through develops the financial fluency and supplier negotiation credibility that distinguish senior planners and category managers in consumer goods markets.
