• Experience as an automotive mechanic in commercial or governmental repair work.
• Knowledge of and the ability to troubleshoot and repair both gasoline and light duty diesel‑powered internal combustion engines, associated power trains, brake systems, and all other vehicular component parts.
• Ability to maintain hand tools of the trade to perform the normal work of the classifications.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required explosives certifications when assigned to ordnance operations.
