Skills & Qualifications

The Associate Researcher oversees research project management and quantitative data work that enables a team of analysts to research, write, and publish reports for technology leaders including CIOs and enterprise architecture professionals. Working directly with assigned analysts and coordinating across social media platforms and third-party data sources, this role ensures that reports move from inception through publication on schedule and to a high standard.

Performance Expectations

• Manage research projects by formulating a project plan, establishing check-in processes, coordinating research, and managing schedules with assigned analysts.
• Assist analysts with primary and secondary research for published reports including telephone interviews, online surveys, and internal and third-party data.
• Support analyst presentations with well-formatted charts, appropriate callouts, meaningful titles, and a slide sequence that tells a story.
• Maintain the report production schedule from inception through publication.
• Learn and be responsible for quantitative work with Forrester's data sets.
• Coordinate the use of social media platforms such as blogs, Twitter, and online communities in the research and publishing process.

Experience & Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with a strong academic record; all undergraduate majors welcome.
• Quantitative or statistics interest is a major plus.
• One to two years of undergraduate or postgraduate work experience.
• Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Attention to detail and ability to build reusable resources such as survey questions and formatted data outputs.

The Associate Researcher guides antibody purification workflows, including monoclonal and polyclonal antibody purification, buffer preparation, and HPLC maintenance, in support of manufacturing processes across a growing product portfolio. Work Activities

• Purify monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies following appropriate SOPs.
• Prepare buffers as needed for the purification process.
• Document purification processes in the appropriate computer systems.
• Perform routine HPLC and other equipment maintenance.
• Conduct testing of purified antibody.
• Work within a team environment and follow company policies, safety, and handbook guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of related experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Core Responsibilities

• Contact and schedule potential participants from a designated pool and conduct subject searches to locate individuals who cannot be reached.
• Explain research protocols and obtain informed consent from participants.
• Conduct online and/or library searches as needed by the PI.
• Perform phone interviews and conduct interviews with research participants under supervision as needed.
• Maintain and update the subject information database.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Counseling, Sociology, or a related research field, or current enrollment in a related Bachelor's program with direct research experience.
• Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC) certification required.
• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal, Act 33 with renewal, Act 34 with renewal, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal required.
• Prior related work experience in a research setting preferred; working knowledge of research methodology strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with computers and common software packages required.
