AIRCRAFT MECHANIC SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. BA in Aircraft Maintenance Technology with 3 years of Experience
- Hands-on experience working as an aircraft mechanic, performing various tasks (either as an aircraft electrician, aircraft sheet metal worker, or aircraft systems mechanic).
- Credit for FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant License
- Requires Product Quality Verification (PQV) Level II certification or must be able to become (PQV) Level II certified within 180 calendar days.
- Requires the ability to read and write in English.

- Possesses an FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
- Has satisfactorily completed appropriate aircraft maintenance courses of instruction from a recognized trade or military school

2. BA in Aviation Maintenance Management with 5 years of Experience
- Knowledge of the technical field of aviation safety and accident prevention.
- Thorough knowledge of bonding and high pressure laminating techniques to repair, and/or fabricate aircraft structures comprised of composite materials.
- Thorough knowledge of mixing adhesives and applying proper adhesives to maintain proper thickness.
- Knowledge of and shall be familiar with processes in carbon, boron, aramid (Kevlar), glass, fiber, aluminum, titanium, steel, and metallic honeycomb.
- Experienced in structural adhesive bonding (metal to metal) and composite structural repair IAW Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) AIR4938.
- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to be persistent in the face of problems or challenges.
- Ability to communicate utilizing the English language.

3. BA in Aviation Technology with 4 years of Experience
- Experienced with Hawker Beechcraft line of aircraft
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificates
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Must possess excellent mechanical aptitude and a desire to work
- Must possess minimum tooling required to perform duties assigned
- Knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, 145
- Aircraft maintenance experience

4. BS in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of Experience
- Must have a DOD SECRET Security Clearance, or can obtain.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a passport and visa for overseas travel.
- Must have and maintain a current civilian driver's license.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government flight line driver's license.
- FAA Power Plant License or experience aircraft power plant maintenance experience with another company or experience as aircraft aviation mechanic or equivalent in branch of military

- A and P License
- Prior mechanical experience

- Crawl in and out of tight spaces
- Work in enclosed hangars and exterior weather conditions
- Work in close proximity to other people
- Experience with turboprop aircraft, specifically King Air or DHC-8
6. BS in Avionics Technology with 6 years of Experience
- Experience with proven documentation for the following aircrafts (A320, A330 and B737)
- Valid driver's license and A and P certificate
- Any general familiarization course preferred but not required
- Must have the required tools as listed in "Employee Hand Tool List"
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Must be able to work in inclement weather
- Able to work nights, holidays, weekends
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant Certificate Required
7. BS in Electrical Engineering with 3 years of Experience
- Must be physically capable of bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, and standing for long periods of time.
- Aircraft maintenance experience
- General Aviation experience with light single engine aircraft under 12,500 lbs
- DHC-6-300 experience a plus, with extensive sheet metal repairs, PT6 turbo prop engines, avionics and/or aircraft electrical system maintenance
- Airframe and Powerplant certificate with no enforcement actions, Inspection Authorization
- Basic computer skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
- A valid state issued driver’s license
- Be able to the satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check Local Records and Credit (NACLC) or Access National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (ANACI), eligibility for a SECRET clearance.
8. BS in Industrial Technology with 3 years of Experience
- Certificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent recognised apprenticeship program
- Experience working in the aviation industry
- Experience of repair and overhaul on gas turbine engines
- Assembly / Disassembly experience will be highly regarded
- Experience and qualifications on MTR390, RTM322 or APU323 will be highly regarded Can demonstrate
