WHAT IS A COO ?

The Chief Operating Officer will have the crucial role of managing the company's resources and overseeing its daily administrative and operational functions. Much like a CFO, the ideal candidate will handle budget management and personnel/team supervision. In addition to ensuring seamless company operations and fostering success, a key responsibility of the COO will involve making strategic decisions that significantly influence growth and profitability. Furthermore, this role will encompass overseeing fulfillment and distribution operations, managing logistics, optimizing the supply chain, monitoring production, managing inventory, and handling purchasing activities.   • Play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations

  • Produce annual operation forecasting reports and financial models

  • Experience with P&L responsibilities including demonstrated success in launching new initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other graduate degree preferred
  • Experience serving in a COO or CFO capacity
  • Experience and success in raising capital
  • Familiarity with inventory intense financial models dealing with contractors/outsourcing and inventory forecasting
  • Analytic and decisive decision-maker with the ability to communicate key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve goals
  • Experience recruiting, hiring, training, leading, managing, and scaling teams
  • Experience creating and leading the OKR roadmap company-wide
  • Superior fact-finding and problem-solving skills to help CEOs make educated decisions
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment
  • Knowledge of import requirements across third-party logistics operators and 3PLs
